HERstory S.V.R. is founded by a group of friends who are in different stages of their lives. Twenties is discovering who she really is. Thirties is finding the balance between focusing on her career and building a family. Forties is experiencing life’s greatest pleasures with the people she loves. Together, they want to share the different milestones of being in the critical stages of adulthood. HERstory will be your shoulder to cry on, your best friend to enjoy life with, and your encyclopedia in times of uncertainty. HERstory is your story.
Once upon a time, this is how HERstory S.V.R.™ began…
Hi there, Reader. You might be wondering how we – Twenties, Thirties, and Forties – thought of this idea of building this blog site. Well, even if you’re not all that curious, we’re still telling you, because this is what HERstory S.V.R.™ is all about – sharing with you our journey as we go through this rollercoaster ride that we call life.
We all met at work. Actually, Twenties is Forties’ niece so technically, they met Thirties at the company they’re both working for. Long story short, Thirties left the company, leaving us to meet for coffee instead for marketing plans. Speaking of marketing plans, that’s our expertise, but each to our own area of specialty – Twenties is content writing and research, Thirties is social media marketing, and Forties is traditional/digital sales and marketing – with a combined 27 years of experience in the beauty industry.
Yada, yada, yada. So, here’s the reason why we really decided to start the company: we failed. We failed in partnering with other name brands. And dare say, there’s a lot of them that we pitched to and for some unknown reason, the deals fall through every time we’re on the signing of agreement part. And believe us when we say that the problem was never on our end, because we always come through.
Was it frustrating? Yes. Did we question ourselves? Yes. Were we discouraged? Yes, but just for a little while. It wasn’t an easy journey nor an easy decision to start our little company. It took a lot of courage and a little nudge from a seasoned professional to push us in this direction. “Why not start something that’s ours?” And so we did.
Like any other company, we want to make a difference, to change lives, and to have control of our own time. We want to accomplish this with you, as you connect with us through life experiences that we all share. And with that, we bring you HERstory S.V.R.™.
